NAR Gourmet’s Award Winning, Handcrafted Specialty Foods Returned to the 2015 Fancy Food Show July 06 2015

NAR Gourmet’s Olive Oils, Preserves, Herbs, Condiments and Vinegars Brought Mediterranean Flavor to This Year’s Show

Attendees of the 2015 Summer Fancy Food Show, held at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City from June 28-30, 2015, once again enjoyed NAR Gourmet’s exquisitely crafted, award winning international specialty foods. NAR Gourmet has delighted consumers with its variety of handcrafted olive oils, seasonal preserves and marmalades, natural vinegars, organic spices and condiments. 

NAR Gourmet has introduced two new products at this year’s show: traditional Turkish delights, crafted by master confectioners, combining fresh fruits and nuts to perfectly reflect one of the most well-recognized Turkish treats, and Organic Sour Pomegranate condiment, one of the most traditional flavors in Anatolian cuisine, ideal for salad dressings or drizzled on vegetables.

Each of NAR Gourmet’s products transports you on an epicurean journey through Turkey’s fertile, sun-drenched Anatolian heartland. NAR Gourmet uses only all-natural, seasonal ingredients sourced locally from trusted farmers and artisans to bring consumers a pure reflection of each season and taste of the region. All of NAR Gourmet’s products are monitored closely during their cooking process and production, to ensure NAR Gourmet’s high-standards are met.

Furthering the principles of producing fresh, natural products, NAR Gourmet launched the “Mobile Olive Oil Production Truck Project” this year featuring a one-of-a-kind mobile olive oil press machine that gathers various olive varieties from different provinces in Turkey. NAR Gourmet processes the local varieties of olives picked in their own ecological environment within two hours of harvesting, capturing the true essence of the Mediterranean coast. This incredible olive oil production on wheels has delivered the freshest results, highlighting the local olive varieties, while traveling more than 2,500 miles across Turkey.

In scope of this special project, NAR Gourmet was awarded with the Gold Award for our Antalya Tavsan Yuregi at the 2015 New York International Olive Oil Competition (NYIOOC) for the second year in a row and the Gold Award for our Antalya Tavsan Yuregi and Antalya Beylik Extra Virgin Olive Oils in the Monocultivar Olive Oil Expo 2015 in Milan. In Italy, NAR Gourmet was awarded by "Dynasty of the Year" in addition to being listed in Italy’s prestigious 2015 Flos Olei Catalogue for the fifth time and our Orange Peel Jam and Chocolate Raspberry Jam have won the Superior Taste Award with a Golden Star by the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) in Brussels. These recognitions have distinguished NAR Gourmet as a leader in the gourmet food industry in the United States and around the world.
